Windowsupdate 80070002 error

    Windowsupdate 80070002 error

    I have attempt to get SPI for Vista Ultimite 64 several times. I get the messege that some companants were not downloaded and get the failure error messege 80070002. I follow the steps to deleted the files then restart and complete the prereq updates until it says I can download SP1. Again it stops at the same spot (19%) and I get the same messege.
    Any ideas ?
    I have ordered an SP1 disc directly from MS but who knows when that will get here.

    Hi Chevtek,

    You can always just download the Standalone SP1 Installer, Its the same one you will be getting on DVD...
