| vista ultimate 64 x 32 | updates repeating for the last week the defender updates i install keep reappearing after i install them until a new one is listed then that one keeps reappearing in the list that i have to install it again the last 3 defender updates i have installed each one about 6 times anyone got any ideas how to fix this problem my othe pc is fine seems like the file or log that update uses must be corrupt in some way |

This might also help cleaning old downloaded updates... Extended Disk Cleanup Steven |

| Windows Vista™ Ultimate | Re: updates repeating hmm...when I was looking for similar problems someone else suggested Bitlocker had caused the problems with Windows Update so since you said you where using it It might still be the cause... Windows Update failed on KB935509 - Page 2 - Microsoft Windows Vista Community Forums - Vistaheads Use this program to flush the softwaredistrubution in WindowsUpdate Dial-a-fix - TechWiki Install the update and restart. It should then be successfull. Steven |
