SP1 RC1 Uninstall Error

Size:  122.4 KBhi all......ok my vista has prompted me to reactivate in 12 days due to the RC SP1
but upon entering ''programs & features'' to remove it i get this.....

if i cannot remove it soon it will void my windows

any way i can get around a system restore..???

Im guessing you used the SP1 cleanup tool?
no i was not aware of it.......

The tool wipes the uninstall information for SP1

SP1 Disk Cleanup Tool

If you used it, you will have to reinstall to remove the Service pack?

Yes, anything you have installed since using RC1...

Prime suspects are system tools, antivirus/firewall software and registry changes...Have you installed/updated any of these since installing RC1?

lol....yes alot has gone on since i installed the RC ....

Yeah there should defiantly be a restore point for RC1 you can use to restore back, If it doesn't work on the first attempt using Vista you might have to boot the Vista-DVD Repair option for a system restore

Yeah there should defiantly be a restore point for RC1 you can use to restore back, If it doesn't work on the first attempt using Vista you might have to boot the Vista-DVD Repair option for a system restore
