This update sat on the Windows Update page since 8/13. Other updates installed. This one would not install. i tried all suggestions and none would install it. I ignored it as I did not know what else to do. I checked every day and it was still there. Today it is gone. It is not on the update list. I do have this listed "Windows Update Agent 7.26001784. Successful. 8/21. Good riddance. Hope others find it gone also.

I also had the same update offered to me, it installed with no problem.
If I remember correctly it was for security reasons.
You might want check it further.
