I purchased a laptop with vista home premium 64 bit and also bought the vista ultimate upgrade disc. When I went to install the upgrade I noticed on the disc it says 32 bit media only.....so will this affect my 64 bit system? I have not installed the upgrade yet for not knowing if it will screw up my system. I noticed in another forum that someone stated that ultimate is 32-bit and 64-bit but the disc states 32 bit media only. Need advice. Thanks.

you cannot "upgrade" from x86 (32-bit) software to x64 (64-bit) or vice-versa. You will have to do a new install with your upgrade disk.
