| Vista Home Premium 32bit SP1 | Re: Registry update failed Error No, I didn't install any new softwares recently. But, there were some automatic Windows updates on 12/10/08 that my computer installed. May be some of the updates caused this error. Where can I get the CCleaner registry cleaner an how to use it? Thanks. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit SP1 | Re: Registry update failed Error Hi Pooch, I installed the CCleaner, thanks for the link. I ran a full registry cleaner and a Windows cleaner, then restarted the computer. But still, I'm getting the same errors that I've started with, cleaning didn't help. Any other ideas? Thanks. |

So unless this problem started after you installed your mouse!! I think a system restore is the next best step, you need to pick a date before this problem started. | Vista Home Premium 32bit SP1 | Re: Registry update failed Error This problem is definitely not because of the mouse. I started using this mouse far before the problem occurred. I don't think that I can use a system restore here, because it was turned off and I don't have anything to restore. Again, I think the problem is with the recent Windows updates that my computer took. May be I just need to remove the updates one by one and see if the problem dissapears. |
