| Vista Home Premium 32bit | cant change update settings hi all i havent used windows update in a while it is still working but it wont allow me to change the settings for automatic updates it says the administrator has switched them off and since i am the administrator why cant i switch them back on again any ideas people |

Maybe it has been switched. Might want to take a look at this tutorial from Brink. And some other useful tutorials in Tutorials-User accounts. | Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: cant change update settings hi airbot thanks for the reply i activated the real administrator account but even logged in under that account it still wont let me change the settings i really dont understand i only have vista 6 months so rather than have it update everyday i switched update off for a few months and as far as i know i havnt changed anything else and now it wont let me change these settings its not a major deal i know would be worse if i couldnt update at all i guess |
