| Vista Business 32bit SP1 | Word 2007 cannot launch after SP1 Install Hello All, I've installed SP1 on my HP DV5000z (Vista Business 2 Gigs of Ram) Office 2007 Standard and now I cannot open any word documents. As soon as I launch I get "Microsoft Office Word has stopped working" a problem caused the program to stop working properly. I have tried several things such as running diagnostic tools, re-installing Office, repairing, plus searching for this issue which seems to be related to SP1. Has anyone encountered the same issue? your assistance is appreciated. ps. Word works in safe mode but not in regular mode Last edited by carlop; 01-11-2009 at 08:51 PM.. |

| Vista Business 32bit SP1 | Re: Word 2007 cannot launch after SP1 Install After spending a few hrs with Microsoft Tech, the problem was located at the printer drivers. Solution: delete printers and re-install. Word works perfectly once again. |
