| vista home premium 32 bit | Re: no luck rebooting well If anyone cares. I finally got this computer to reboot vista. What I did is: I only have an XP disk so I put it in and it started to run. it ask me something about the partition. I let it run then it said something about replacing what was on the C: drive, so I tried to go back to the first screen. and I realised that I wasn't going to get there so I pulled the disk out and put it back in. It started to load again and I decided to pull it. it just started to install the sp1 and started up after it was done. PROBLEM SOLVED. |

| Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 Windows 7 Ultimate x64 TECHNET | Re: no luck rebooting Thanks for sharing. A very unusual way of fixing your problem. But as you say, it seems to have worked fro you. Glad you got it fixed, Good Luck with it. You might want to run checkdisk and SFC/scannow to see if anything else that may be screwed up can possibly be fixed. Check Disk - chkdsk System Files - SFC Command |
