| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Windows Update encoutered unknown error Having recently fixed a Windows Update problem on one laptop (by doing a Vista Upgrade on it) I have now noticed another Update problem on our second laptop. Although most updates install successfully, three of them repeatedly fail to install and result iin the folowing Error Message: "Windows Update encountered and unknown error", together with Codes: 800B0100 and 807000D. I've tried the various fixes previously suggested on this forum but none have worked. Is this another case of having to do a Vista Upgrade, or are there other fixes I could try? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks |
