is possible to install windows updates in a diferent partition?

Hello. I want to know if is possible to relocate the destination for windows updates to a diferent partition?
I did a fresh install of : xp, vista and ubuntu in the same hard drive (20gb partitions) and my vista partition (20gb) is to small for the operative plus the updates I got 2 extra partitions 1 for vista stuff and 1 for xp stuff, is any way to install the vista updates in the partition for vista stuff?

what if I resize the vista partition from xp using partition magic?

any help will be apreciated
