Vista update made the CF reader not work

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, so please move it if required.

I have acommodore gaming system, from PC World (UK).

Its new. I plugged in a CF card to the USB connected multi card reader (usb to the motherboard I believe) when I first got it and it read the card. I have installed the SP1 from MS and the downloads that MS pop up recommends.

The readeer now doesn't work. Not sure which one of the updates causes it.

Where do I look ?
Is there anything I can do?
Windows claims the device driver is up to date (even uninstalled but it came back the same).

Thanks in advance

Re: Vista update made the CF reader not work

Alsoo when I plug my blackberry in (on usb) Vista initially couldnt find a driver, then it found one and then refused to open anything... like it was disconnected...

Somehow this is similar to the usb reader not working... do I need to uninstall all the kb updates????
