Error message 80244019 problem

can anyone help me with my vista updates problem,for somr reason i cant get updates.the last update was the 17th,when i click on update i get the error message80244019.can anyone help,,,ta

If you are using any proxy server for internet disable it and try. If not type regedit in run, expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU,
in the right pane double click on UseWUServer and make the value as 00000000.

Type services.msc in run, in the window find winHTTP Web Proxy Auto Discovery Service right click on the services and disable it.

Restart ur system and try :)
