Vista - Cant unistall SP1!

I have Windows Vista Home Premium
Service Pack 1

I have checked all possible ways on how to uninstall SP 1.
the biggest problem is, I dont have Service Pack for Microsoft Windows (KB936330), wich is the one to uninstall. last year my brother uninstalled this but nothing happend, it was still SP 1. and now when I cant find it I tried to reinstall it. I downloaded it from internet and when Im about to start it says I cant, since its already installed .... how come I still got SP 1 when its actually uninstalled? SP 1 is causing me problems since I cant run some programs and its getting on my nerves!! Does anyone know if there is something that can be done or is it doomed?

I would be extremly happy for answers!

It would seem to me that SP1 is still installed and when KB936330 is not showing you will not be able to uninstall it

Are you sure that your problems are because of SP1

What sort of problems are you having? try to be as exact as possible with your answers as we still may be able to help you

well, Im just tryin to play some online games (private servers) that doesnt support SP 1. its just that not finding how to uninstall SP 1 is frustrating and thats a problem for me.
also, is it possible to install SP 2?

and, I dont think this has anything to do with SP 1 but, everytime I start my computer, it sounds really much! Im not good in english, but it sounds like a racer-car when its supposed to sound nothing. I had the same problem on my old Windows XP computer and Im just worried that something might happend to my computer again. that it will start DC so much that I cant use my comp anymore.

Yes it should be possible to install SP2, you will have to wait though it is not out yet

When my PC starts up it is louder than normal because the CPU cooler runs very fast, but it quietens down when it reaches the Desktop. Is this what you mean? if so then it is normal and you need not worry about it

Yes, it quiets when it reach the desktop. I just wondered cuz when I got the comp it was very quiet. thanks =)

When updates are installed information to uninstall is also placed on the computer,
this information may be deleted to save space. The drawback being that you can no longer uninstall said update.

I guess that on your PC this information has been deleted or maybe damaged, either way, you are now stuck with SP1. The only alternative is to reinstall.
