Ok im not sure what i did but this all started about 2 weeks ago,,, i know i changed some services settings as i went to www.speedyvista.net and followed the service guide to run everything "safe" (im not considered a novice computer user BTW) . A few days later i noticed i cannot recieve updates anylonger and i get this error code 8007002. I read everything i could about it and ive tried running all the fixes (WindowsUpdateAgent30-x64.exe, Windows6.0-KB947821-v4-x64.msu AKA: System Update Readiness Tool, A.bat and more) no matter what i do i still have this issue.
Also when i start up my PC my audio service and my DHCP Client services are off even though in my services settings they are set to automatic, Ive obviously set all my services back to default settings but still no change. I am able to rightclick on my speaker icon and select PlayBack Devices and then i select my device and it starts the audio service running again for me.
With the DHCP Client i have to go into my network and sharing center click view status for my local area connection then the diagnose button and it will then tell me the DHCP Client is not running do i want to restart the service,,, of course i select yes and then it restarts and im able to get online etc,,, and have the full normal connection.
This is getting to be a big pain in the butt to have to do everytime surley there must be a reason these services are not starting up even though they are set to run as automatic. Any help would be much appreciated thanks
