| Vista Ulitimate x64 | Cannot Revert Back to IE7 I'm running Vista Ulitimate x64. IE8 freezes and closes at least 5 times a day. I went through Add/Remove and unistalled the IE8 update and it did revert it back to IE7, however it doesn't work. The webpage is blank [white] and it tells me that "insert random URL cannot be opened at this time" when I try to go to a url in the address bar. I've set all the settings back to default and clear private data and still nothing. Before I installed IE8, I created a restore point and when I tried restoring it after the first try failed, it did the exact same thing forcing me to install IE8 once again. I have firefox, however I don't want to switch browers, I just need suggestions on how to fix this problem. Thank you! |
