| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Did complete restore on laptop now......... Hey everyone, I did a complete restore of windows on my laptop. Then when it downloaded and installed the service pack one, my network notification and volume control, that are located by the clock are inoperable. They worked fine up until I installed the service pack 1 update. Before the restore they worked even after the service pack update, awhile back, any suggestions? It's a Dell Inspiron running 32bit vista home basic. |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Did complete restore on laptop now......... For the volume control, open up control panel and device manager and find the sound card and uninstall it, let windows reboot and reinstall it on its own. For the network problem you may want to look online and see if there is a update to the software/driver. Hope this helps! |
