Vista - Updated harmfull..

Hi,
When ever i installed any automatic update my computer gives me unexpected shut down and BSOD ( blue screen of death), plz help me.
1-wat should i do install any update or not ?
2-if i do not install it would be right to do for my windows security or not ?

Yes, if your computer restarts to fast to get the info right click on the computer icon on your desktop and select properties and then on the upper left select advanced system setting and then in the startup and recovery section click on settings and look for automatically restart and uncheck the box and ok it.

What updates are you installing and when did this start to happen.
