How to remove the updates from 'uninstall updates'

Hi all, my questions centers around the programs listed in:

Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> Installed Updates

There is a listing up recent updates here, with the option to uninstall if I right click them. I would like to delete said entries (without uninstalling the needed updates). I have successfully deleted the update history by deleting C:\windows\SoftwareDistrubution\Datastore, but the history really isn't fully deleted until this goes as well, hehe. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Yep, that is correct. I am pretty sure it is possible by removing a registry entry somewhere. I know I have done it once before, but in googling the problem I wasn't able to find it for a second time, so I thought I'd come on a couple boards and ask.

I don't want to uninstall anything, I just want to wipe the entries clean so they don't come up.

Thanks!

I'm attempting to write a program to remove all outward traces of a computer being connected to the 'net. That would be an outward trace.
