this all initial started when i tryed to install norton 360 on my computer, it failed, and said i should update windows. when i try to update windows it fails, i got this error messege

i went to this website to try and resolve this.

i downloaded the little tool, that finished, but then the windows update just errors again.

Boot in safe mode,

enable hidden file view (Click the Vista Start button, click Control Panel, click Folder Options, and then click the View tab. Now Click Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK),

Navigate to C:\Program Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader delete all the files started with Qmgr.
