I have a question about the update to IE 8. Do I have to deliberately de-select IE 8 during the Wave 1 update if I don't wish to update to it yet?

Secondly, does the automatic update mean that it will automatically change my IE 7 to IE 8?

Hello Daveski,

You don't have to update your IE7 to the newer one the IE8 via automatic update. You can always hide any update which you don't want to install. Also there is possibility to restore hidden update and install it later, whenever you decide to do this.
