I have a windows vista 32 Home Premium 32 bit system with SP1.
I can run windows update to download the updates, but they will not install (??).
(One of the first updates was for Internet Explorer 8 and 9 others for windows)
I get unknown error D8070204 - install failed. My last succesful update was May 3rd, which was from my automatic update setting. Could I have gotten a virus somehow which is preventing windows update from installing updates or is there something else that is wrong? I will be running my full Avast Antivirus scan tonight to see if it is a virus. Can anyone help with this? Thanks
