| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Check for updates but let me choose... whether to download and install them. But it seems the Icon and reminders won't go away unless I choose what MS wants, which is to install it. If I choose NOT to install a particular update, is the damned icon going to sit in my system tray and keep NAGGING me until I do, or is there a way to make it go away - without turning off Updates completely. There is an IE update which I don't care to add because I don't use IE, but when I choose not to install it, the icon won't go away. Advice? |
