| vista home 32-bit | Problems with net passport 3.5 hi guys, I have my auto updates switched on yet since a download of definition files for windows defender on the 3/3/2009, all updates have failed, now in these updates is the 3.5 sp passport, which i need desparatly, now also to this i use firefox as a web browser, now when trying to download manually from microsoft themselves, its always says i cannot connect to microsoft downloads, no matter what download i try :s --yes i am using a proper copy of vista, not pirate! Im using vista 32-bit home. When i try doing the updates i get the following error code:- Code 80244019 Can someone please help me lol, tried numerous things but to no good! Thanks |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Problems with net passport 3.5 To download from the microsoft site using firefox you need to install this: IE TAB Once it installed go to the microsoft page and then click the ie tab button that switches your firefox engine to ie and allows you to download what you want. Next click the link in my signature and download and install everything listed in Step 2 then reboot your pc |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Problems with net passport 3.5 aaarggg lol. Once its downloaded and firefox has restarted right click on the browser bar and click on customise. A new window will apear and you should see IE tab there. Just click on it and hold the button down and drag the IE tab to the browser bar. Then clcik Done |

| Vista Ultimate x64 | Re: Problems with net passport 3.5 Go to a non microsoft page like google. Then change the engine to IE by using IE tab and then visit the microsoft page you want. If you cant get it to work the simple solution is to use Internet Explorer for visiting Microsoft Web pages. |
