| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Windows Updates after repair install I have Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I did a repair install with my Dell OEM, which has no SP1. Therefore, I uninstalled SP1 before doing the repair. The repair was successful. I now want to do the Windows Updates. I cannot see SP1 in the list. Question 1: How do I find SP1? Question 2: Due to the fact that SP1 incorporates pre-SP1 updates, should I install SP1 first? I assume that this would prevent it from installing pre-SP1 updates ![]() Question 3: There are 75 updates. Any one of these could cause problems. Therefore, should I download the updates in date sequence, and in batches of 20? This would allow me to reboot after each batch of 20, so any errors would be in that batch. . |
