| Vista 32 bit Core2 | Windows update nVidia :( hi newbie have a Dell Inspiron 531 2Core, Vista 32 bit. had no real trouble with this set up till i received a pop-up telling me Windows was installing a driver patch for my nVidia GeForce Go 6150 which appears to be the Graphics Controller as opposed to the graphics card. Soon after i got partial 'screen black' - this has now progressed to total screen black with a floating message / question mark / concerning screen resolution - which looked great last time i could actually see anything - normal size icons etc. the system won't even go to Safe Mode now - just reboots to black please help thanks R |
