| Vista Business 32bit | SP2 Update Problem (SP2 Already Installed???) My SP2 installation have this error as below.  Now my laptop has this problem with SP3 indicated as below. Is the SP2 update fiasco due to this? How to solve the problem??   |

| Vista Bussiness x64 PL | Re: SP2 Update Problem Navigate to key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion and check what you have in phrase CSDVersion ->it should be of course Service Pack 1 ->if you have 3  you have to correct it,restart system and repeat SP2 instalation |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: SP2 Update Problem I have similar problem and have also contacted Microsoft but the advice doesn't help at all: "We believe that you have install a windows vista service pack 2 beta version which have caused this issue. To be able to resolve this case, please uninstall the Windows Vista Service Pack 2. For guided steps to uninstall it, refer to the link below: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/948537" I never had SP2 beta installed. Wingmaker, if you get more constructive advice please post it here. Thanks in advance. |
