Languages missing after SP2

I'm running Vista Ultimate x64,and my system offered to upgrade me to SP2 yesterday.

Next month I'm starting a Korean class, so today I thought I would install the Korean Language pack so I can practice and do my homework.

After the installation of SP2, all additional language packs are gone! Totally not cool. Once of the big selling points about Ultimate was the ability to run multiple languages.

I contacted Microsoft and indicated my unhappiness. Their solution at this moment is to uninstall SP2, and they gave no indication as to when the language packs will be available for SP2.

So, if you're running Ultimate and want to use any language other than English, do not install SP2.

Re: Languages missing after SP2

Sorry for the inconvenience here, the language packs, as I'm sure you were told will be coming, but no timelines are set as of now.

You should be fine rolling back and can update as soon as the new language packs come out.

Cheers,
