| Vista | Shut Down, instead of restart after update Under what circumstances is it necessary to do a Shut Down, instead of restart after an update? Did an update a bit earlier today. I told the update to do a restart. However, upon restarting, the "currently connrcted to" icon in te system tray had an X, which would normally indicate a problem. However, bothe LAN and WAN were working. I did a shut down, and the icon was cleared up upon reboot. Seems odd, n'est-ce pas? |
