SP2 reverted back to SP1

Anybody had this happen, downloaded fine, seemed to install ok, but during the reboot and install screen (dos like screen) it went to 100% stage 3 and then it stated could not install service pack 2 and is reverting back to service pack 1. What would cause this any ideas???

It didn't "revert back to SP1", it just didn't install. Thus the could not install notification.

As for why this happened, there are various reasons, one of which could be a patch or two missing. Make sure you have "all" important and reccommended updates, then try again.

Look through this link for some suggestions...Vista SP2 is out
