SQL Server 2005 Update installed but still there

as title says. it has been installed numerous times but still remains there how do if get rid of it.

If you stop for the moment Windows Update service and delete folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and then restart Windows Update service does problem still exist?

tried to do that but it just kept restarting. so how do i fully kill it?
