| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Windows Updates erase my Printer ! I am wondering if anyone would know why a windows update would erase my printer from the list of printers. It doesn't happen every update, but it does quite often, and of course I cannot use my printer. It just evaporates off the list !! I have been using system restore, for lack of a better idea of how to get printer back. This is rather ridiculous and would like to know why this happens and if there is a way to fix it. I don't really want to shut down the auto updates... ? |

| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Re: Windows Updates erase my Printer ! I have an HP Officejet 6310 All-in-One. Now this evening the update did not remove it completely, but won't print. I'm going to have to turn off updates. This is so bizarre. |
