| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Vista Auto Reboot Query I have a new computer; OS Windows Vista Home Premium. I have noticed that on a couple of occasions whilst I'm browsing the web or viewing emails, suddenly I get a message saying do you want to save the tabs, before I can barely read this notice and no time to respond, the computer closes all windows, logs me off, says its configuring updates and then shuts down. It then reboots and I have to log in again. The system is set to install updates automatically, but is it normal for Vista to just suddenly shut down and reboot, leaving no time to respond and save work. My old computer running XP OS would only update and then do the configuring stuff when I shut down. cheers for any comments. |
