Vista - Help with a Windows service pack 2 question

Can anyone shed some light on a Windows Vista service pack 2 problem? This is evidently the new Windows update, but when I try to download it, I get a message saying that possibly one or more drivers are incompatable with this new update. Can I still safely do the update or what is going on with this?

you are better to download all the driver updates for your pc first. so go to the manufacturer websites for your motherboard, your graphics card and your sound card (if you have one) after doing that you should be alright.

HPlaptop,and i got the same message while running hte update on service pack 2.Now ehre do i get the latest drivers and how do i kn ow which ones to update.

Is it complaining about "MSDSM" and refering to a knowledge base article which talks about Server 2008?

In that case I got the message as well. I eventually tried to ignore it and SP2 installed fine anyway without any problems. Also see this:
