| Windows 7 x64 and Windows XP professional on Desktop | Windows Vista Ultimate Backup computer help currently i have been trying to backup my computer using complete backup on my windows vista ultimate but every time i try when i click the button it says " (X) The backup application could not start due to an internal Error: The specified service does not exist as an installed service. (0x80070424) Please check your system configuration and try again. " | OK | i hope the description helps. and i do have all the updates, unless there is one that isnt labled (Important) that i dont have does any one know which one it is? |

| Vista 32 win 7 7600 32 bit | Re: Windows Vista Ultimate Backup computer help NP it just telling you there is something wrong with the backup service. do yu have an extra hard drive to save the backup too? could you type services.msc in search and look for the backup service and tell me if it is there and if it is started (in auto, manual, or delayed)? thanks Ken BTW way there is a solution on microsoft here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...7-b58db2c8bc17 Hope this helps |
