Re: dowmloaded vista sp1 n having problems

Hi alidabar

1) HP PC Recovery, check paper work which came with PC or HP web site.

2) Back up all Pic, songs & file to USB drive. Not Programs.

3) Download Vista sp1 as a ISO file burn to CD.

4) Download Vista sp2 as a ISO file burn to CD.

5) After recovery you will only have the programs which came with your PC.

You can use the Ubuntu live cd to get all your data if Windows won't boot. If Windows can boot, use Macrium Reflect to image your hard drive and OS. Use an external hard disk that is 1TB so you won't run out of space.

It is not proper to make it if you have system corrupted already otherwise new reconstructed system will inherit errors from the old one.

You can choose the options, especially for backup in a single image.
