New Update = Lost Update history

The new Windows Update interface (that MS did not ask me for permission to install) has seemingly wiped out my update history.

I guess I should have turned the update engine service OFF, as some have suggested to update manually each month.

Has anyone else lost their View Update history?

Re: New Update = Lost Update history

Have you tried checking the following:

Control panel > Programs > Programs and Features > In the left column click View Installed updates

Can you see them there?

I did find the the Windows Update history in Programs & Features | Installed Updates. Glad to know I did not lose it totally. The history list that was in Update is still gone.

Thanks for the help.
