My computer has recently tried to update my .NET Framework files with the Updates, Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 Security Update (KB953297) and Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847). I have gotten the Code 603 error for the first, and Code 80070645 error for the latter.
I did a clean reinstall of .NET Framework 1.1, and don't even have 3.5 installed. Only 1.1 is installed, as I tried fixing this yesterday with clean re-installs, but lost knowledge of which versions I had. Ever since these problems have been occurring, in programs such as X-Fire and the WoW Startup menu, I have been getting the boxes with the shapes inside them, in places where there should be adds, avatars, and other pictures. I've only seen it in those 2 programs so far.
So, would it be safer for me to just install every .NET Framework from 1.1 up and their corresponding service packs? Or is there an easier fix? I did restart after removal, and after the download of .NET Framework 1.1.
Thanks for any and all help!
