| vista basic | Re: SP2 update why do I want to use it? will it stop my vista program from freezing up, will it make my computer run faster, what way is it better from sp1? Just curious - I get different opinions on updates - some say DONT, it can screw up a computer thats working just fine, others say DO IT because it will be better and make the computer operate/safer than the other. I've known people that never update their computers - just their security and never have a problem with the computer; then I know people like me that do all updates and there's always a problem showing up. So what to believe? Thanks for your opinion |

Microsoft respond to problems that present to a huge number of users, & their solutions / SP's are created for the greater good. My advice is to install SP2. I did. |
