Vista - SP2 fails error Code 80070002

I am plague with Vista Business update to SP2 with the error Code 80070002
I have performed all the "Get help with this error" suggestions. The System Update Readiness Tool has run and completed with no problem and I have tried installing SP2 from the stand alone download

1.Try reset the whole WU in aggresssive mode How do I reset Windows Update components?
2.Try install SP2 standalone version in safe mode

I have tried both of your suggestions this morning with no sucess

Run cmd.exe with administrative previlliges (right click on cmd.exe as admin)
and type:

sfc /scannow

If it don't help find in folder C:\Windows\LOGS\CBS file CBS.log ->pack it and upload it on RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting

Remove below files and folders (some of them you may don't have already)

Folders directly from C:

file SPC_SP2_Wave0.xml from C:\Windows\System32

all *.xml files from C:\Windows\WinSxS

empty folder C:\Windows\WinSxS\Temp

Besides open regedit find key HKEY_LOCALE_MACHINE\Components

and make sure you don't have any extra strings more which I showed below:

If you have any extra strings which I don't have then you have to remove them +restart

Then you remove these files & folders try again install SP2 in safe mode
