Hello!
For some reason, I am the kiss of death when it comes to computers. I don't file share, game, gamble, or anything else.... I've had this computer almost a year. HP laptop.
anyway, my computer and my phone quit communicating. I cannot synch my phone. I figured it was a samsung issue and didn't really care. I hardly ever synch anyway.
Then one of my photo editors quit updating.
Then HP Client stopped updating.
Trend Micro wouldn't install their updates. I called them and went back n fourth for weeks. I finally gave up. But I cannot uninstall Trend Micro until it updates! Nice twist. Trend Micro kept telling me that I have components of Norton on my computer. I've never installed Norton. It wasn't on it when I bought it. And they couldn't locate it when they did a remote access.
Well, I'm taking an online class. Had to download a zip today. Nope!
I did a system restore. It hasn't helped either. AND, in fact, it has caused more of a headache. I had yahoo IM but deleted and uninstalled. Now, when I startup, a pop-up shows up saying that it cannot start yahoo IM. I went back to my programs list, and it's there. BUT, when I go to uninstall again, it says that it cannot find it.
Ideas? Suggestions?
Thanks
