Used updater and now video card not recognized

I have updater set to manual updates but have not done any updates since early December. Yesterday (1/30/10) I decided to let it do all it's updates, there were 5 important updates I think, I didn't read what they were. After updating I did a restart and instead of working normally I got the BIOS beep code for "No video card or bad video RAM". So now not only does Windows not load but I can't even get into BIOS. I took out my video card and put in an older one I have and I get the same BIOS code. Not sure what to do at this point, or if there is anything I can do. I would really like to not do a full reinstall. Any help and ideas are greatly appreciated, thank you.

If you have BIOS alerts that's strickly hardware problem, not any system problem. If really BIOS return problem with video card so you have to change video card and don't take care system :sleepy:!If you have computer on warranty I strong recommend contact with manufacturer support.
