I have 22 updates that are currently waiting to be updated and every time time i update them they say that they have been completed and to restart my computer. But when I restart my computer to let them finish they say they were configured incorrectly and then they do not finish. Whats my problem?

I'm not sure I think its for the software maybe security too. It just says updated ready then I do the while thing and it configured incorrectly reverting changes

I'm not sure they used to do it automatically then just stopped that's why there's 22. They have accumulated to that now they won't finish.

what service pack you got on the machine? and what windows are you running.. pretty sure its a vista.. If you have service pack 1 installed .. you need to go on add and remove program and uninstall previous updates.. then reinstall the service pack 1 and then the service pack 2..

Ok ill try that it is vista like 8 months old

it said that file could harm my computer and a smaller version was available but it sent me to my updates that wont download now

i just checked and mostly security updates starting with KB like KB967723
