Scan with your antivirus and this
    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes

If negagtive may be your restore points.

Regardless of the results, scan with the AntiVirus and Malwarebytes, at least, weekly. Prevent future problems.

If all is negative and you have no other options, this will pinpoint the missing space.

Also if possible schedule a scan and that should help, if you going to do one manually every week then do a quick scan for a quick time scan and if you think you have been infected then I would run a Full system Scan Be warned this process can take up to 3 Hours depending on the amount of Data on your HDD.

    Hope This Helps,
    Josh

i do scan my system everyday via AVG...and im using SUPERantispyware too..and yeah i also ran a disk analysis using glary utilities and it calculated only 140 gigs of used space the rest is "i dont know where"..plus just out of curiosity im using the BitComet torrent client..do u think maybe i imported somekind of a virus through it?!?!?!i mean i know the files are tested against any viruses before uploading since i download through TPB..but still maybe??

The Pirate Bay don't test all of their torrents for Viruses and you can be Vulnerable it is possible to obtain a Virus or a Trojan I would run a Full System Scan

    Hope This Helps,

It may be your Restore points But unlikely for it to obtain that amount of data anyway could you delete your restore points. Turning off system restore will delete all the points you can enable it afterwards

see Turn System Restore on or off For More Information

You may want to see this : System Restore - disk space

    Hope This Helps,
