Windows Framework .Net update problems.

First off i have a dv6604nr Vista 32bit Home premium laptop. My problem is that when i try to update my .Net framework from 3.0 to 3.5 and 4.0 it succeeds and i can sue the programs until i restart or shut down my computer. After i do either of these it goes to a Configuring Updates Part 1-3: and the %'age. But here's the problem. After it update it reboots and sais it has failed to load and goes to a Reboot Error page that looks for a solution to start the computer. Though it sometimes comes to either one It does work and reboots but is System Restored to before the problem OR 2ndly It will go in a loop to System Updating to the Reboot Page until i manually System Restore. I have tried multiple times and it has jsut happened again around 15 minutes ago (Auto Self Restored.

My Automatic System Updating is : OFF because i have had problem with updating in the past about nearly the same problem but not sure why (Don't think it is the same update as the Framework.)

The updates that get the errors are KB110806 KB929300 KB948609 KB948610 i have found these by going to Computer Management - Windows Logs - System.

The full errors are (will be different colors so it is easier to pick out).

Code:

KB110806

Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80242016: Update for Windows (KB110806).

1.If you have any hexadecimal folder on any partition (hexidecimal folder=folder which name consist with hexadecimal digits) then please remove them.Such kind of folder you can find only on directly on partitions (not in any subfolder)

2.Uninstall all 3p security software
3.Reset Windows Update

Try both tools:

How do I reset Windows Update components?

(run MS Fix It from this site in aggressive mode)

check also this one:Repair & Fix Windows Updates with Fix WU Utility | The Windows Club

4.Remove NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0 by using NET Framework Cleanup Tool .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

and disable NET Framework 3.0

go to Control panel>>Programs and Features>>Turn windows features on or off" and disable NET Framework 3.0 +restart

As to my knowledge and just checked now to be proven that i have no service packs installed which is a little weird because i thought i did but, yeah i will try this now, and will update later. *UPDATE* I have tried Updating individually and had the same problem ALSO I HAVE tried installing the Windows Vista Service Packs but just like the Framework once it finishes and restarts or i shut down any time after it, it goes to Configuring Updates: Part 1 of 3 and When that finishes it goes to Reboot Error and fixes. I am going to try what Flavius Said and try to restart updates or something.

2.Uninstall all 3p security software
3.Reset Windows Update

4.Remove NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0 by using NET Framework Cleanup Tool .NET Framework Cleanup Tool User's Guide - Aaron Stebner's WebLog - Site Home - MSDN Blogs

and disable NET Framework 3.0

go to Control panel>>Programs and Features>>Turn windows features on or off" and disable NET Framework 3.0 +restart
*UPDATE # 2* This did not work and the same problem occurred. Though this time I looked closer at the reboot error. it said while fixing

Root Cause
----------------------
Boot critical file c:\ntoskrnl.exe is corrupt
Request error code = 0xa
Time taken: 9188 ms

and then it said the solution it had found was to reboot from a different day (system restore)
