Solved SP2 disables broadband dongle

I installed Vista Service Pack 2 but it disabled my 3Connect broadband dongle. It justs displays 'No Network'.
I used a command line to reset TCP/IP (which I found an instruction for on the internet) and re-installed the 3 software. This worked, but the next time I turned on
my computer I had to re-install the software again - but it wasn't resolved the first time.
How can I fix this issue permanently please? Thank you, Andy.

Hello.

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2.

My dongle is ZTE model MF112, although I'm struggling to find where to update
the driver for this on the Three website. I've only had it three months so assume the
driver would be up to date?

Thanks for any assistance, Andy.

Hello.
I un-installed and re-installed the software using the links provided. I won't be able to tell whether this has resolved the problem for a little while.
I'll report back with the result later.
Thanks, Andy.

My Computer

Un-installing and re-installing the newer driver for my dongle hasn't worked, and I can no longer connect at all. I combined re-installing with a netsh command to reset TCP/IP to no avail.

I would welcome any further suggestions - with Vista SP2 I can no longer connect to my broadband dongle!

I regret installing Sevice Pack 2, but it hasn't even left me a system restore point, so I have no choice now :(

I think I've found a solution by removing a program beginning ZTE_somenumbers in addition to the 3 software. I also had to un-plug and re-insert the dongle while the 3 dashboard was indicating 'No network'.
Again, I won't know for a few days - but am optimistic that the problem is sol-vved.
