    How to remove installed updates

I have several issues going on with my system. however I want to tackle each, one at a time.
This past November my system crashed. I did a clean install Shortly there after I began receiving the information I have provided below:

    Description
A Windows update did not install properly. Sending the following information to Microsoft can help improve the software.

    Problem signature
    Problem Event Name: WindowsUpdateFailure

    Win32HResult: 80070643
    UpdateId: 104EFFC6-E241-483A-A49B-65972295723A
    Scenario: Install
    SourceId: 101

    Locale ID: 1033

    Extra information about the problem
    Bucket ID: 1563358261

So I reviewed my history updates as well as problem reports and have come to the conclussion that I want to remove all the updates that I didn't monitor as I had in past. in order to find the which update is causing my system to act crappy at times.

    1) how do I remove installed updates to start fresh?

Another problem began showing up more since MS has not resolved my configurations started stopping. It too is reported but not resolved. I pasted it below:

    Configfree;

    2) How can I restore systems config to its default settings without performing a system restore?

    Please Help!

Re: How to remove installed updates

You can use a system restore or
You can go to programs and feataures in the conrol panel

    Upper left see update history
    Then uninstall

You can try an SFC command for the configuation.
    System Files - SFC Command
Run three times if errors are found

If that does not work an repair install should work.
