    0x800A01AE error

    When trying to use windows update to find updates for other windows update, the windows update site gives this error 0x800A01AE... any ideas on a fix?

    Hello and welcome to the forum can you give us a little more info on your system.

    Laptop or desktop...
    manufacture name..
    Model Number...
    Browser...
    Your anti-virus name...

    Do you remember when this first started and what you were doing when it happened.

    Next run a full updated scan using your computer security..

    If you do not have then please download and run a full scan using malwarebytes here is there link, download the free version, Malwarebytes Let us know your results when we know it is not a virus or malware then we can proceed with the errors.
