Hi,
My wife's Lenovo computer running 64 bit vista had office 2007 pro trial installed from the factory. We uninstalled it and installed office home/student 2010. When it checks for updates it continually wants to install Office 2007 Power Point update KB2464594.
Is there anything we can do to stop this behavior?

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum.

First would be even if you uninstalled it, it would still remain in the partition as it comes that way in there package unless you have the full versions of all your software. But please post back and I will continue to look for a solution for you...

Use the following tutorial to uninstall 2007 trial version.
How do I uninstall Office 2003, Office 2007 or Office 2010 suites if I cannot uninstall it from Control Panel?

The tutorial has separate " uninstall button " for 2003, 2007 and 2010.
Make sure you use the right one for each version you want to uninstall.

If that still does not work, then use the same tutorial and uninstall 2010 Home and Student > then re-install it.

The easiest way would be to just right click on the update and select hide update like option one in this tutorial,
