Well, then go ahead and delete it , not necessarily listed as malware tho, and i don't think it would cause these issues, but, if not being used, then get rid of it, you might also want to use latest version of Ccleaner and rid yourself of any temp files and such .

ok i did that, but the update problem is still there.. I don't think a virus is actually there..
I will keep an eye on this thread for more pointers, hope to get some...

Check hard ware, try this one instead of the other one i gave you : Check Disk - chkdsk

If you have SPTD it should be removed, its know to cause trouble. It is probably part of Daemon, replace with:

So just a quick update, i didnt have demon tools or alcohol 100% installed, so i couldn't uninstall those. Also did a chkdsk, no further errors were fuond on disk.
